This Papailoa Beach Elopement has to be the craziest wedding I have captured yet. We were planning on having the wedding at Papailoa Beach but plans changed as the time went by. Everyone had gotten there on time and all we were waiting on was the officiant. We decided to start taking photos since the officiant hadn’t shown up yet and then after we were done, called the officiant. He wasn’t answering and then we all started to panic a little more. I decided to call up my friend that was an officiant and she said she would do it. All of her friends and I, headed down to another beach to meet the officiant outside her home. I honestly couldn’t believe how calm the bride and groom were. They didn’t care too much about anything, just legally wanted to be married. Once we got to her place, we had to wait for her because she was at her daughters graduation and on her way home. We decided to grab some more photos and them while we waited and capture that beautiful sun going down. My friend the officiant showed up and married the amazing couple. It was definitely a wedding day to remember and it was so fun. Im so grateful for how amazing this couple was and that my friend was able to pull through.
