I’m so excited to share these pictures from the Gannons Maui Wedding on the blog today!
This was my first Maui wedding and it was such a dream! I flew over the morning of the wedding and checked out the venue before heading to hair and makeup. I was super excited because it was so beautiful and my bride was a florist and it was covered in the most beautiful flowers. I got to where the girls were getting ready and they were sitting in their matching robes with some drinks in hand and getting ready. I went straight into grabbing some details and then capturing them getting ready and having fun. As soon as they were ready, we had the bride get into her dress and did the sweetest first look with her dad. We also then grabbed some photos of the all the girls together and then the moms.
We headed over to the ceremony to grab their first look. This venue was on top of a golf course and over looked the ocean and neighboring islands of Hawaii. We had the groom set up in his spot and grabbed the bride to capturing him seeing her for the first time in her dress. The moment was so beautiful and so special! We then grabbed a few photos of them and then some with their brides maids and grooms men. It was now time for the ceremony to start and my favorite part of this whole ceremony was that he played the guitar and sang to her walking down the aisle. After the bridal party came down the aisle, he grabbed his guitar and sang to her while she walked down to her. It was so stinking cute, I wanted to cry!! They had their gorgeous ceremony and made it official with the rings and the kiss. We then went into some family/ friend photos.
As soon as we finished the family and friend photos, we got in our cars and drove down to the beach for some sunset photos. We got the most stunning sunset that I have seen in a while. The sunset photos lasted about 45 minutes and I wish it was longer because it couldn’t of been better. We then headed back for the reception. They did their grand entrance and and did some speeches to start off. After some drinks, they shared their first dance together under the stars. She then shared a dance with her dad and he shared one with his mother. They brought the cake down and cut into it and shared a slice with each other. They finished with a few more speeches and ended with a big dance party! This was such a fun and eventful wedding. I was so lucky to be apart of such a perfect day and capture these for them.
